The WOMPOL Project will officially be launched on 26 March 2026 at Ambassador Hotel in Hargeisa.

The kickoff event will mark the beginning of a three-year project working to strengthen the participation of women and youth in democratic processes. The event will bring together project partners, representatives from political parties, civil society organizations, and other invited stakeholders.

During the event, participants will be introduced to the vision, objectives, and planned activities of WOMPOL. The program will also highlight the importance of inclusive participation and the role of women and youth in building stronger democratic processes.

WOMPOL seeks to contribute to greater awareness, stronger leadership, and more inclusive political dialogue through training seminars, workshops, community dialogues, debates, and public communication efforts.

The launch event will provide an important starting point for collaboration, learning, and dialogue around democratic engagement in Somaliland.
